SOCIAL PANTRY BRAND COLLABORATION
A riot of bold, vivid colours for the Social Pantry showcase, hosting an intimate industry evening with a private view of the Yevonde: Life and Colour exhibition and a seated dinner, celebrating female entrepreneurs.
The brief was to add further to the colourful scene being created; to design something as bold and vivid as the works which photographer and pioneer Yevonde created in her time. Yevonde Middleton was a vanguard-leading London-based photographer who pioneered the use of colour photography in the 1930s.
With our Bauhaus Signature Collection as a foundation, we created this bespoke look to tie into the Yevonde exhibition merchandise in pink and red, using inspiration from Yevonde herself to push for “a riot of colour”.

BEHIND SOCIAL PANTRY AT
THE NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY
Using colours from the exhibition graphics, we designed a circular menu, reminiscent of a camera lens. Playful typography in a dynamic layout was designed to work with the round shape. The baby pink and fuchsia tones tied our tablescape to the exhibition. The result was a bright clash of colours that sat neatly on the plate, using tones from the floral arrangement to complement the glinting gold of cutlery and the jewel-like teal of the table linens.
A seasonally-led menu curated by Social Pantry held within the iconic National Portrait Gallery, Social Pantry served a seasonally-led menu to a guestlist of some of their most valued clients, who were invited to enjoy canapés and an exclusive private viewing of the exhibition.
The main portion of the evening was spent seated in the Victorian Galleries of the Blavatnik Wing, surrounded by works from some of the great masters, artists and creators.
